So we're less than 24 hours away from departure. I am a nervous, excited, scared, ball of energy....minus the energy. The past couple of weeks have been great, if not exhausting. This summer is gonna be something. I guess from here we say Good-bye, see you in 2.5 months on the other side of the country. Thank you to all who came out last night, it was great to see you. Encouragement is something that we are going to need. We really can't do this without you, please continue to send notes, emails and comments. We'd love to hear from you. The gloves lost in Eugene have been found ... too late to get them to you here, but we can either (a) mail them forward to a bike shop in a city you will be passing through or (b) mail them to your home in Nebraska. Preference?
I hope your passage over the Cascades went ok. That's got to be hard riding with a full load. Be safe and don't push yourselves too hard.
